Changed a class but this date didn't move
You edited a course or open class and one date didn't follow, or the other way round. What reaches existing dates, what doesn't, and what a single date keeps.
For owners and managers
A published course or open class has already made its dates. Each date is its own lesson, and some changes to the class reach the dates while others don't.
What reaches the dates#

Past dates never change. They keep their teacher, room and register.
Why a date didn't follow#
- It's in the past. Only future dates follow.
- It was moved with Edit this date, and you changed something that doesn't reach dates, like the time. A moved date keeps its own time.
- You tried to change the day or time. On a running class those fields are fixed, so nothing was saved. See below.
Why a date changed when you didn't expect it#
- You changed the room on the class. Every future date moves to that room, even one you'd moved to Room 2 for a single evening. Move that date back with Edit this date.
Change the day or time of a running class#
Not possible in place: moving every date of a class people have booked into is really a new class.
- Open class: End class, then create a new one on the new day. Booked dancers on the old dates are told and refunded. See Stop or extend a recurring class.
- Course with nobody enrolled: Unpublish, change it, publish again.
- Course with dancers: change the dates one by one with Edit this date. Everyone booked on each date is told.
Tell dancers about a room change#
A room change on the whole class doesn't notify anyone. A room change with Edit this date notifies everyone booked on that date. If a whole class moves to another building, tell your dancers yourself.
