My school isn't visible
Dancers can't find your school, your join code doesn't work, or a published class doesn't show. Work through these checks in order.
For owners and managers
1. Is the school live?#
If the sidebar shows Go live at the top and a draft banner, your school is still a draft. Nobody outside your team can see it, whatever you've published. Open Go live and see what's left. A dancer who types your join code before then is told the school isn't open yet, and is let in once you go live. See Go-live checklist.
2. Is something blocking going live?#
The top of Go live says how many things are left. The most common ones:
- Create your first class: a course or open class is saved but not published.
- What happens when somebody cancels: needs a These suit us on Cancellations.
- Payouts: Stripe hasn't finished. The card says what it's waiting for: Unfinished means Stripe needs something from you (choose Finish on Stripe); Checking can take a day, and you'll get an email.
3. Only the owner can go live#
A manager sees the checklist but not the Go live button. Ask the owner.
4. The school is live, but a class isn't showing#
- Is the class published? A draft only appears on your team's schedule.
- Has it ended? An ended open class, or a course past its last week, no longer shows.
- For a course: a block that has started is no longer open for enrolment, so it may not be listed as something to enrol in.
- For an open class: dates only become bookable once the class's Opens (days before) is reached.
See Nobody can book this class.
5. The join code doesn't work#
The join code only works once the school is live. Check the code on the School page, and that the dancer is typing all six characters.
6. Billing#
If your Dansly payment failed or your plan was cancelled, what you already run keeps working, but you can't publish anything new. See Billing.
